While the Inspire fitness tracker is even cheaper than the Inspire HR, we rated the latter as the best value band in Fitbit’s line-up when we reviewed it, and that was at its full RRP of £89.99 rather than the £60.99 the Inspire HR is available for in Amazon’s Cyber Monday sale.
That’s the cheapest we’ve ever seen it and an outrageously good deal, and since it’s a bargain that’s cropped up on the last day of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, you can be sure a better discount isn’t going to crop up anytime soon.
The Inspire HR has all of our favourite Fitbit features – terrific everyday activity and sleep tracking, automatic exercise recognition, and the 24/7 heart rate monitoring allows it to estimate your resting heart rate. It can also track swimming and although it doesn’t have its own built-in GPS, the Inspire HR will link to your phone’s GPS to provide more accurate outdoor run and cycle tracking, as well as a nice map of your route in the Fitbit app afterwards.
It’s a great package of features and naturally getting yourself a Fitbit means you can connect with the many friends and members of your family who undoubtedly have one, so you can compete to see who can take the most steps. And if you want to compete with your kids you can grab the Fitbit Ace 2 children’s fitness tracker in the Cyber Monday sale for £45.99, down from £69.99.
If you do want a more advanced Fitbit than the Inspire HR, then check out the Ionic smartwatch in the Cyber Monday sale. It’s the only Fitbit with built-in GPS, and it also has music, Fitbit Pay and a large, beautifully vivid touchscreen. It’s been reduced to £179.99 from its RRP of £249.99.
For most people, however, the Inspire HR will cover all the bases. It’ll help you get moving more every day and the slim, lightweight band can be worn alongside a traditional timepiece, if you’re not ready to ditch your analogue watch just yet.
