What we check
- Names, dates, quotations, figures and the status of any guidance or approval mentioned
- Whether a finding comes from people, animals, cells or a model
- Whether the evidence supports a causal claim or only an association
- Who was studied, the setting and the limits of applying the result more widely
- Whether important uncertainty or competing evidence changes the conclusion
